Few celebrations move through a city quite like Dia de Muertos moves through San Miguel de Allende.
For one afternoon into evening, we leave the sanctuary of Casa X and step into the town's streets, where marigolds and candlelight transform every corner, altars appear at doorways, and Catrinas parade through generations of tradition.
This is not a spectacle we watch from a distance, it's an invitation to walk beside a celebration Mexico has carried for centuries, and to feel firsthand how remembering death can be an act of joy.
